Hello Millard Mom (how fun to hear from a local!!!!),

I'm already jealous that you are 2 weeks away from visiting WDW; what a great way to wrap up the summer.

To get to Chef Mickey's from All-Star Sports, you simply need to take the bus to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you arrive, you can enjoy a short walk to the Contemporary, or you can take the monorail or boat over to the resort.  As you exit the bus and follow the crowd to the Magic Kingdom, you will be able to see the boat launches to your left and the monorail straight ahead; signs will direct you to the specific resort monorail and boat.  The walking path to the Contemporary runs parallel to the bus stop, and I believe there are also signs marking the path.  If I'm incorrect about the signs, there are plenty of cast members available to help you find the path.

Once you are ready to go to Epcot from the Contemporary, you will need to take the monorail to the Ticket and Transportation Center (the first stop) and transfer to the Epcot monorail.  If you aren't rushed, you can ask a cast member to ride in the front of the monorail and mention you are willing to wait.  I think this is the best route on the monorail and worth the wait.

I believe the check-in desk for Magical Express opens at 5 a.m. every morning, so you should be in luck to utilize it for your resort bag check-in.  However, there have many recent changes this summer with airlines adding different fees for luggage.  I would check with Guest Services at some time during your trip to make sure you don't have any additional requirements.

Thanks for sending me a question and have a trip filled with all sorts of magic and pixie dust!
