Hi, Kara. My family has been to WDW 3 times & always stayed at a moderate (CB, POFQ twice). If we now stay at a value, will we probably notice a big difference in comfort? My kids are DS 12 and DD9. What is your fav. value resort?

    Hi Rebecca,

Great question! I had a trip once where I stayed at one of the All Stars one evening then the Contemporary the next; I was astounded at the differences in the beds, but I don't think I would have noticed had I not had the nights back to back.  Aside from the smaller rooms, you may notice a slight difference in the bed size since the value resorts have double-size beds while at Port Orleans French Quarter you probably had two queen-size beds. However, at Caribbean Beach Resort you most likely had double-size beds.  If you didn't notice a difference between the two resorts, it probably won't matter much. You will also go from two sinks to one sink.  However, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at a value resort.  And if it makes the trip work within our budget, I'm just that much happier!

As for my favorite, I really like Pop Century. It's a bit more muted than the All-Stars, but still magical! And I have to admit I love exploring all the memorabilia from all the decades - so fun to talk to my kids about the trends and toys from my childhood.   However, I have to admit I'm so excited about the Art of Animation and hope to have the opportunity to visit it next year.

Thank you for the question; please let me know if I can help again!
