Joel --- great info about the park openings....we are adding that to our must do list.....so, Downtown Disney, might head there the day we arrive.......where's the best spot for dinner? Other must see's?? Have not been there in about 10 years or so!! Thx

What's up, Eileen! Downtown Disney is a rockin' idea the day you arrive or the day you depart, especially if you don't have park tickets for every day you draw breath on Disney World property.

If you're on the dining plan and burning a quick service credit, Wolfgang Puck Express is the best value. If you're paying out of pocket and want something quick, Earl of Sandwich is where the party's at. If you want a sit down with cool theming, go with T-Rex. Your kids will get a kick out of the theming there. There's also a Build-A-Dino workshop (just like Build-A-Bear, but with dinos, dudette.) Could be a fun after dinner activity.

    Other fun things to hit:
    • For the kids? Lego store and World of Disney.
    • For free stuff? (I'm pretty cheap.) Get free chocolate squares from Ghiradelli.
    • For you? Trend-D. Go ahead a buy yourself something niiiice.
