Hi Joanne! Considering crowds and weather, which do you think is better - the middle of March (Ontario March Break), or the third week of August? It looks like crowds thin a little at the end of August, but is the weather unbearable? Thank you!

Hey neighbour! Thanks for the question Rosemary! We went during the Ontario March break two years ago and it was great. I was pleasantly surprised by the crowds - not crazy busy every day. The weather was good - certainly much better than the Ottawa snow and cold we left behind! The mornings and evenings were cool, although the kids still swam after a day in the parks. I must say I loved escaping the winter weather for a sunny week. And there were good specials too - click here to keep updated on the latest Disney deals.

We have gone to Disney World in mid-August for the past three years. No question about it, it's hot! And humid, which means it rains every day. It doesn't typically last long, but it does rain. We usually head back to the resort in the afternoon when the sun is hottest and enjoy the pool. We also love the water parks, so enjoy the warmth. During this time, Disney has offered free dining in the past, which made it busier. Never crazy busy, but given so many guests were enjoying free Disney Dining Plan, we were happy to have made our dining reservations in advance.

Write back if you have any other questions Rosemary!
