for the jingle bell jingle bam at Hollywood can you see the show if you do not get the dessert party tickets?and is the view is just as good? can you get the 3 d glasses to?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tracy! What a great show you are looking at! Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM is a perfectly fun, modern way to celebrate the holidays.

My family loved the “early” showings during the dark days of December, when we were able to catch a 6:15 showing while we munched on Mickey pretzels and water bottles. You do not have to elect the dessert party to see the show, but you may need to “camp out” for 25 minutes before showtime to secure your preferred spot on the pavement. Cast Members will nicely tape out pedestrian pathways to separate them from standing and viewing areas, and I usually send my husband to pick out some snacks or coffees while we peel the kids from strollers and freshen up before the show. The view differs from the many vantage points in Hollywood Studios, because the giant palms in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre may obstruct some image from different areas. But along with the center projections, there are two other projection areas with similar and differing images, making the entire area an amazing show. If the area leading up to the theatre is full of spectators, I prefer to stand on the left hand side, towards the ABC Commissary.

While you won’t need 3D glasses to see the show, I often find holding up Mickey Vision Glasses for fireworks adds a bit of magic to a show I’ve seen previously. I especially like to use them while watching Epcot’s IllumiNations, but I think they get in the way for parts of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM. Either way, the specs are a sweet souvenir to always have on hand. Have a merry vacation, and please ask another question! ~ Lindsey P.
