Hi Jason! I want to buy tickets from an outside source, but will be staying on property with the dining plan. Do I need to purchase at least one ticket for my party in my package to qualify for the dining plan? Seems I saw that somewhere. Set me straight!

    Hey hey Jaynee-

Welcome back, it's great to hEAR from you! The mystery answer to your question is here and I’m excited to share it with you. I’m setting the record straight. It’s the truth it's actual …

Tickets are not required to purchase Disney Dining Plans. Disney Dining Plans can only be added to a Walt Disney World Resort reservation. Technically, you could purchase a Disney Dining Plan while staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and not enter a theme park. But seriously, who has the will power to avoid the theme parks? Not this guy!

You should speak with a Disney travel specialist (407-WDISNEY) about adding a Disney Dining Plan and make sure to do so at least 72 hours before your arrival date. The Disney Dining Plan will be added for every day of your resort stay. When you get your tickets link them to your My Disney Experience account to keep your essentials organized and begin making your FastPass+ reservations. We love the Disney Dining Plan because the only thing better than a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a Walt Disney World Resort vacation where we don’t cook and clean. I hope now that everything is satisfactual.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
