January I made reservations at POR,Aug 19-29(visa disney). Since I made the reservation there was a price increase, if my dates become available for the same category room for FD will the price I paid be honored, or do I have to pay the higher price?

    Hi Robyn,

So glad to know you are planning a late summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. Awesome!

First, you should know that the free dining Special Offer has just been released, and you may be able to take advantage of it. You should speak to your travel agent, or to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936, so they can add the offer to your existing reservation.

I had a similar situation a few years ago. In my case, I was switching Resorts, and I was able to maintain the rates and Theme Park Tickets prices, even though there had been a price increase. Now, remember that the free dining offer does not offer any discount on the room, and Theme Park Tickets require Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus options. In any case, I am pretty sure that the offer discount will be much more than any price increases.

One last tip: you can already start making dining reservations, and remember that you can make FastPass+ reservations starting 60 days before your Check-In. Happy planning!
