Hi Jane. Good to see a UK mom on the panel. Do you recommend magical express when travelling from UK? We arrive into Orlando at 3pm. My worry is that we will wait an age after a long flight then be without our luggage when we arrive in resort. Thanks.

    Hello Jill,
I'm absolutely delighted to be part of the Disney Parks Moms Panel offering Walt Disney World travel advice to my fellow Brits!
When my family lands at Orlando International Airport (MCO) we always make full use of the complimentary airport service: Disney's Magical Express.
And they don't call it magical for nothing -
    - it's easy to find - just follow the 'magical express' signs in the terminal
    - it's effortless to use - Cast Members are on hand to assist you
    - it's efficient; with little or no wait times to board your Resort bus
    - dedicated Resort buses; with no more than 2 stops on route
    - buses are extremely comfortable and fully air-conditioned
    - buses have on-board TV with informative entertainment
    - it's much swifter and less stressful than renting a car plus figuring out how to drive on the wrong side of the road and find your Resort; immediately after a long 9 hour flight.
    - it's complimentary; after all, free is my favourite price!
With long haul flights it's usual to be concerned about the whereabouts of your luggage, but in my experience I've always collected my cases from the baggage claim carousel; thus having them with me for the driver to load onto the Magical Express. If you are at all worried about being separated from your suitcases; I advise packing a few essentials in your hand luggage.
If you have any other Walt Disney World Resort planning questions that I can help you with, please feel free to come back anytime!
    Have a great Disney day.
    ~ Jane
