Hi Jacqui, Our flight lands at 9:30 am at MCO. We are taking ME to PO-FQ. What time do you think we will arrive at the hotel? Since check in isn't until 3:00, can we leave our carry on bags with the front desk and head right to one of the parks?

    Hi there, Kim!

Your journey to your Walt Disney World Resort will typically take around 45 minutes from Orlando International Airport via Disney's Magical Express from the time you board.   Depending on when your bus leaves, you may have to wait a bit for other passengers before your motor coach leaves the airport.  For this reason, I always like to figure that I can expect to arrive at my resort at around one and a half hours after my airplane lands.

It's never too soon to let the magic begin so once you arrive, go out and enjoy the parks!  Even though your room may not be ready for check-in, you should head to the front desk and complete your check-in process.  In the meantime, you can store any bags you have with you at the Bell Services counter.  You can choose to receive a phone call or text letting you know when your resort room is ready.

Congratulations on planning an exciting visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!  Please feel free to write back to me with any additional questions.

I wish you a truly magical vacation, Kim.
