Hi Jacqui, We are going to be in Disney for only one day with my two little girls 4 and 6. What are your tips for making the most of it? What would be the best place to stay so that we would could take a pit stop during the day without breaking the bank

    Hello, Cathy!

Thanks for visiting me at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  It sounds like you are looking for a convenient place to stay for one night?  I am assuming that your plan is to visit Magic Kingdom Park?
If you are looking for nearby accommodations for a midday break, then I would definitely look at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, or one of the three resorts on the Walt Disney World monorail line.  All Disney Resorts offer complimentary transportation to the parks.  Since you have just one day, the resorts I mentioned would be the most convenient via monorail or boat.  Take a look at the Special Offers which change regularly.  Depending on your dates of travel, you may find an attractive deal!  Whatever you decide, get to the park about a half hour before posted opening time.  Take advantage of FastPass+ which gives you priority admittance to your favorite attractions.  Feel free to write back to me once you have your resort booked.  I would be happy to help with additional questions.

Until then, I wish you a truly magical vacation!
