Hi Jackie! My husband and I stayed at POR mansion for our honeymoon 1/12 and are going back 1/14. We want to stay in the same room b/c it was so great! I know they can't guarantee but what will increase our chances? Or, should we try Alligator Bayou? Thx!

    Hi there, Allison!

Thanks so much for sending your question into me directly! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed your honeymoon stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The Mansion buildings are just so beautiful with their grand staircases and fragrant magnolia trees all around. That southern charm really transports you right into an old southern plantation, doesn't it? :) The Cast Members at 407.W.DISNEY [934.7639] would be more than happy to add a room request to your Resort reservation, but it would be really difficult to get the same room. Plus, if you request a certain room number and they can't do because another Guest is already in that room, you may not end up where you'd like to be. What you could do is request a certain area of the Mansion building you'd like to stay in because then you'd be more likely to have that request fulfilled. You might even consider giving one of the new Royal Rooms a try!

The Alligator Bayou is pretty cool too, and very different from the Mansions. The weathered wood "lodges" resemble the villages typically found in the rural bayou regions of Southern Louisiana. While it's a completely different feel in the rooms themselves as well, I think it would be really fun for you guys to have a different experience too! My family always likes to try something new each time we visit Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps, Allison! Please let me know if I can help with any other questions you think of!

    Have a Pixie Dusted day!
