Itinerary help please! This is our 1st trip to DW. We are staying at Port Orleans-riverside 2/1-2/7. We have park hopper passes and will be eating brkfst w/ Cinderella on 2/5. Son is 7 & daughter is 4. Not sure what days would best to visit parks, etc.

Hi Lori! I'm always happy to help out my fellow North Carolinians with Disney questions!

You've picked a fantastic time for a first visit to Walt Disney World! Attendance levels in the parks are generally fairly low in early February so you should be able to experience lots of attractions with little waiting. Arriving to the parks when they open is the key to minimizing the time you spend waiting in lines, so be sure to set your alarm for an early start and then take a break to swim and rest at your resort later in the afternoon.

Since you have the Park Hopper option on your tickets, you'll have the flexibility to visit multiple parks in one day, so if the park you're visiting seems really crowded, you can always head to another one. With the Park Hopper you'll also be able to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours for Disney resort guests at one park and then spend the rest of the day at a different park.

When planning my Walt Disney World vacations, I like to view the Crowd Calendars on unofficial websites like or Those sites use historical attendance data, holidays, and other factors to predict crowd levels in the Disney parks. For your dates, I recommend the following park schedule:

    Feb. 1 Epcot
    Feb. 2 Hollywood Studios
Feb. 3 Magic Kingdom or Epcot
    Feb. 4 Animal Kingdom
    Feb. 5 Magic Kingdom
Feb. 6 Extra Magic Hour at Magic Kingdom, then head to Hollywood Studios or Epcot
    Feb. 7 Animal Kingdom

Be sure to make dining reservations in or near the parks you're planning to visit each day so you won't waste a lot of time traveling to meals.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
