    1. What items can you take in the parks for children to snack on and can you take in juice boxes for them?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Gloria!

Snacking at Disney is one of my favorite topics, because not only are snacks delicious and a must-pack for Mouseketeers, but they are life savers when waiting.

Some of my kiddos' favorite snacks to pack in our theme park bag include crackers, applesauce pouches, fruit leather, and pretzels. We usually bring larger packages of these snacks with us (or order snacks from a grocery delivery service to be delivered to our resort room) and re-package them into smaller containers. I prefer lightweight plastic storage containers because items can be easily crushed in resealable bags. The possibilities are endless when it comes to your kiddos' favorite snacks! Be sure to look at the Park Rules to be sure you're not packing any prohibited items such as glass containers, and if you'll be using a cooler, you'll need to use ice packs or fill resealable bags with ice cubes, as loose ice is not allowed. Don't forget to check the dimensions of your cooler to be sure it complies with the rules.

Juice boxes are fine to bring into the theme parks, as long as they are not in glass containers. We always bring refillable water bottles (you can stop at any Quick-Service dining location to refill them), because there is so much walking, and the Florida sun is strong.

Gloria, while I love to bring snacks I know my kids will eat (and it's a great money-saving move), I also set aside some room in my budget for some iconic Walt Disney World Resort snacks. My children love to cool off with a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, and I dream of the magical pineapple Dole Whip between my visits. I also love the Disney-themed Rice Krispie treats, candy apples, and Mickey Pretzels with cheese dip. So many new themed ice cream cones, cupcakes, and savory snacks are debuting almost every day, and it's fun to try these specialty treats.

Happy snacking, and I hope you and your family have the most wonderful time together!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
