will we have any issues with the size of our kiddos not being able to ride certain rides? they will soon be 3 my boy is not my concern but my girl is tiny. i dont want her to not be able to ride the rides that he can! also some must go to character dining!

    Shawna:

The best way to keep disappointments from happening at Disney due to height restrictions is to do a little research beforehand. There are typically just a few attractions in each park with height restrictions and honestly, for your children's ages, they won't know they're missing anything unless you point it out. A quick look at the attractions will help you determine those rides you need to simply avoid.

You have so many choices for Character Dining at Disney World. Your choice should be determined by the characters in which your children are most interested. Do they love Pooh and Tiger? A visit to Crystal Palace will be a must-do. Are they captivated by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse? I'd recommend any meal at Chef Mickey's or the memorable Mickey's Backyard BBQ. If you'd like your daughter to experience the princesses but think your son may not be that engaged with them, try dinner at 1900 Park Fare with both Cinderella and Prince Charming along with the humorous wicked Stepmother and Stepsisters. It's tamer than the abundance of princesses found at Akershus and Cinderella's Royal Table. One last thought on character dining: If your children are picky eaters, stick to the buffets over meals served family-style like 'Ohana's breakfast with Lilo and Stitch or The Garden Grill, featuring farmer Mickey.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
