    Hope from WA Asked

Hello! We have a 4YO, who isn't quite tall enough for some rides. Does Disneyland offer a "Parent Swap" for some of the rides so we can stand in line together and not lose to much time? There are five of us, wondering what our options are.

    Hi Hope!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Rider Switch Service will allow your family to still ride all the thrilling attractions you'd like without needing to wait in the full line twice!

How this works is you'll want to approach the attraction queue with your full party of five and let the Cast Member know that you'd like to utilize the Rider Switch Service. They will provide you with a Rider Switch Pass. The majority of the group, Party 1, will get in the regular queue while an adult stays with your little one, Party 2, and the Rider Switch Pass. Once Party 1 finishes their ride, the adult from Party 2 will be able to bypass the line by providing their Rider Switch Pass. They can also bring 2 extra Guests with them, for a total of 3 people with the one Rider Switch Pass.

Please review the full list of attractions the Rider Switch Service can be utilized on. If you aren't sure upon arrival, the Cast Member at the front of the queue should also be able to tell you. I hope y'all have a magical trip and please let us know if you have any other questions!
