    Lynn from PA Asked

I have an "invisible" disability (arthritis in hands, feet, legs). Standing on the bus & holding the strap is difficult/painful. Can DAS be used for early boarding? Or is that only available for those in scooters with visible disabilities?

Hi there, Lynn! It is so nice to see you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It really means the world to us that you continue to visit us!

I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering and please know that you are not alone. I recently traveled to Walt Disney World Resort with my mother who suffers from Fibromyalgia, and I know that it can often be a difficult struggle. It is my understanding that the Disability Access Service is to help Guests within the Disney Theme Parks to shorten the amount of time that they have to wait in a queue for an attraction, and is unfortunately not part of Disney Transportation outside of the Theme Parks. I would suggest to either rent an Electric Conveyance Vehicle, or take part in the Express Transportation Option if you plan on “Park Hopping”. That being said, I also suggest contacting Disability.services@disneyparks.com or (407) 560-2547 to inquire as to what further options you may have.

I hope that you are still able to enjoy your magical vacation! Please come visit us again soon,

    Jen
