We are interested in going to shows, does the Indiana Jones show allow wheel chair access? Can we sit with our child in the designated area?

I have so many good things to say about visiting Walt Disney World with my mother, who is in a wheelchair and unable to transfer out of it. When we visited, she was able to enjoy all the attractions and shows she had hoped to visit (fyi, she was not interested in any intense rides) and was always treated so well by cast members.

When you visit the attractions and shows like Indiana Jones-Epic Stunt Spectacular!, a cast member will direct you to where you'll want to enter and any other necessary information you may need. The Park Maps will also indicate beforehand if your daughter can remain in her wheelchair or if she will need to transfer out of it. Rest assured, there will be a dedicated place for guests in wheelchairs. There are also seats for family/friends so that a guest in a wheelchair does not have to sit alone.  However, there may be some restrictions to the number of guest who may sit with them (this may vary by attractions and time of year).

Before you visit Walt Disney World, there is information about the accessibility of each attraction and show on the website. It is typically located in the upper right-hand corner of each attractions' page. I also like the information on the independent website rollingwiththemagicblog.com. You may also want to do an internet search for A Guide to Walt Disney World Attraction Vehicles and Seating: Disney’s Hollywood Studios by Erin Foster for detailed information and photos about what to expect, including wheelchair accessibility.
