I am interested in renting a Polar Patio at Blizzard Beach water park this year. Are there places to lay in the sun with each cabana or are they completely shaded areas?

    Hi Thomas!

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question - I'm happy to help.

Sounds like you've got a great day planned "chilling out" at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Designed to resemble a ski resort that's melted into a watery wonderland, Blizzard Beach is an amazingly awesome place to cool off on a hot summer day.

I'm happy to hear you're considering renting a Polar Patio during your visit. You'll be able to kick back and relax in comfy padded lounge chairs and sip on ice cold bottled water to your heart's content. If it's soda you'd prefer, you'll receive refillable drink mugs and you'll have a cooler stocked with ice as well. Fresh towels are provided throughout the day, and you'll have an attendant on call who can take your lunch order and deliver it right to your patio. (separate dining charges apply, but no waiting in line - more time for the water slides!)

The Polar Patios are located in shaded areas, so if it's sun you want, you'll need to venture out of your patio area to soak up some rays. There's a locker provided on each patio to store your belongings while you enjoy the pools and slides.

I hope this helps with your planning - please let us know if you have any more questions before your Walt Disney World vacation! Have a magical day - Diane W.
