We are interested in doing a Disney Port Excursion without the kids one day. Are we allowed to leave them in the nursery and Oceaneer's club while we do this?

Welcome aboard, Kathryn! Disney Cruise Line offers the most amazing Port Adventures in each one of their exciting ports of call. I'm really happy to hear that you and your husband and thinking of sneaking away for an adventure of your own while the kids take part in the fun at the Youth Clubs.

The Youth Clubs onboard the ship are the most magical places you've ever seen. My kids adore going there to meet new friends and participate in the activities with the fun counselors. Sometimes we have a hard time getting them to leave the clubs. Your kids will love everything offered there too, I have a feeling! The counselors in the Youth Clubs are happy to check your kids into the Club and Lab or It's A Small World Nursery while you and your husband head off on your Disney Port Adventure. They'll simply ask that you leave them with the information about which adventure you'll be on and your cell phone numbers, though they can always reach the adventure guides in the event of an emergency too. We feel very safe letting our kids stay in the Youth Clubs, as the counselors are so wonderful with them!

Please be sure to pre-book hours in the nursery for your littlest sailor at the same time you book your Port Adventure. Unlike the Club and Lab, where kids can be checked in and out whenever families would like, the nursery requires advanced reservations and carries an hourly fee. Sometimes hours book up there, so you won't want to wait to make those reservations.

Have so much fun as you continue to plan this exciting vacation at sea, Kathryn!
