Fernanda from Rio de Janeiro Asked

Intend to stay at AOA in January and I’d like to purchase a stroller at the internet and want to know if I can give the hotel’s address to receive it. Will they keep it until my arrive? Should I ask any special permission? Is there any fee? Thanks!

Greetings Fernanda!  I am a huge fan of Disney's Art of Animation Resort! I got an early sneak peek tour of Disney's newest Resort in April before it officially opened and loved the immersive storybook theming and spacious Family Suites! You are more than welcome to ship packages (strollers included) to your Disney Resort before your arrival. I called Disney directly just now to verify my information and they confirmed that a stroller is acceptable to ship prior to your arrival. You can definitely give the Resort's address to the shipping company and the Resort will hold your package until you arrive. With that being said, I would recommend speaking with the shipping company and making sure that your package does not arrive more than 7-10 days prior to your arrival. Disney Resorts will hold the package free of charge for you. I would also recommend bringing your shipping confirmation number with you just in case you encounter any problems at check-in. On the shipping label, you will want to (or have the shipping company) include the name and address of the Resort,  your name, and your date of arrival.  I would make sure that the name of the guest on the shipping label matches the name on your resort reservation. I have provided you with any example of how the label should appear.
