Hi there, Megan! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Since your children are under the age of 18, their grandparents can certainly buy them
Florida Resident discounted tickets. Tickets can be purchased on the Walt Disney World website, or by calling (407) 939-7679. If you have a
My Disney Experience Account, you can link the kids' tickets using the confirmation numbers that you'll receive in an email. Your in-laws will have to show proof of Florida residency to activate the tickets only on the first day, by visiting a
Guest Relations window at any of the theme parks or Disney Springs.
Once you have everything set on My Disney Experience (including your own tickets), you'll be able to make your
FastPass+ selections (up to three in a single Park per day) 60 days before your arrival date. I always make a quick spreadsheet a few days beforehand with everyone's top attraction choices and the Parks we are visiting each day, and then I set my alarm for a few minutes before 7:00 AM EST.
By the way, October is a BOO-ti-ful time of yEAR to visit Walt Disney World! Magic Kingdom Park looks so festive for the season, with it's Mickey wreaths and the yellow and orange buntings. It's also the time of my favorite special event of the entire year-
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!
Have a fantastic trip, Megan, and don't be shy about visiting our site again with any more questions!
