Would like more information regarding the interaction area at Down Town Disney. We will be visiting with our 7 yr old granddaughter. Would this be appropriate for a 7 yr old?

I'm going to guess, you're referring to Disney Quest.  There is much to do at Disney Quest, as soon as you enter the elevator to the begin the quest, on the wall of the elevator is Genie from Aladdin, and a short cartoon.  It's really neat.  There are Magic Carpet rides, and a River Rapid Ride, and can't forget sailing with the Pirates of the Caribbean, and the quest for treasure.  There is every type of video game from the 80's through the present, even pin ball machines, she can shoot baskets, or ride snow mobiles.  There are Mario games, and all sorts of activities.  Once inside there are no quarters to slip in slots, its just a huge playground.   I put in soft earplugs, to minimize the sound.   It does get very loud.  Have fun!!!
