do infants get a key to the world card? if so what does it do/ needed for? thanks!

    Hi Amanda,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask your question. In the past, all guests, including our little ones, received a Key To The World Card. This was mostly for show, as the card didn't have access to make purchases. With the new MyMagic+ system and MagicBands, infants are not issued a MagicBand but toddlers and preschoolers are. When we took our 3 year old girl last year, she was so excited to have her own MagicBand. While she wasn't able to use it for purchases within the parks, she was "in charge" of opening our resort room door. She loved it!

I hope this answers your question, Amanda. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
