We have an infant in our party. If we arrive at an attraction near the end of our Fastpass window (and one adult must wait with the baby) and the time on the Fastpass expires, will the waiting adult still get to ride using the Fastpass?

    Hi Laura!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip.  Be sure to take lots of pictures with your little one on your vacation. The photos I have of my children as babies in Walt Disney World are some of my most treasured.  My children love to see pictures of themselves in the Happiest Place on Earth before they could even walk.

I have a great tip for you about vacationing with children at Walt Disney World.  It is called the Rider Switch Service, follow this link to read all about the details.  The Rider Switch Service is just one of the many ways Disney makes a family vacation special.  Essentially how it works is when you approach a qualifying attraction, you request a Rider Switch pass from the Cast Member at the entrance.  Then one adult stays with the child while the rest of the party goes on the attraction.  When the first group is finished they then "switch" and the person who was waiting with the child can use their Rider Switch pass to enter the FastPass queue.  Even better still is the first person who was waiting with the child can take another Guest along with them if they wish.  If you ever see a family playing paper-rock-scissors just outside of Space Mountain it is probably my family competing to see who gets to go on the ride again with Mom.

Happy planning Laura!  If you have any more questions please come back and see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel where we love to help Guests plan their magical vacations.
