We have an infant we are bringing with us along with a 8 yr old. We both want to experience the ride with our daughter but one has to stay with the baby while the other rides. Will we have to stand in line again so the other parent can ride?

    Hi Holly,

    Happy New Year!

Walt Disney wanted to create a place where families can enjoy time together. This means many of the rides can be enjoyed by all guests except a few with extreme thrills such as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Space Mountain.

If there is a ride which your infant can not ride or even your 8 year old, you will need to use the Rider Switch service. Simply head to the front of the attraction and ask the Cast Member if the Rider Switch option is available. If so, the first set of riders heads onto the queue while the other receives a Rider Switch pass to use after the first set of riders is finished. Once the first set is finished, the adults switch and the second rider heads straight onto the line.

    Wishing you a magical day!
    Beth
