    Kimberly from FL Asked

Can I include a party member in my planning for fast passes if they have purchased a Florida resident ticket but need to validate proof of residency at the gate?

Hi, Kimberly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! If you're getting ready to make your FastPass+ selections, your Walt Disney World Resort adventure must be coming soon, so let's get planning!

Here's my advice to get you started. First, be sure your friend or relative has a My Disney Experience account, and then have them check the account to see if their Florida resident ticket is there. All you need to make advance FastPass+ selections is a valid ticket, so if it's there, you're good to go! Just link your accounts and you'll be able to plan together. Then, when you arrive at Walt Disney World, your friend can show proof of Florida residency to activate the ticket, and you can be on your way!

If your friend doesn't see the ticket in My Disney Experience, they may need to link it. They can link the ticket with a confirmation number, or just call Guest Relations for assistance. Once the ticket is linked, feel free to get those FastPass+ selections started!

Now more than ever, it's a great time for Floridians to visit Walt Disney World! There are so many new experiences coming to Walt Disney World in 2019, I just know you'll have lots of reasons to make magical memories this year.

I hope this helps you plan your Walt Disney World adventure, Kimberly. Please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
