Hi. I'm 22 years of age and i am doing a solo trip to WDW in May. Any suggestions?

Hi David! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

A solo trip to the Walt Disney World Resort in May sounds absolutely dreamy! You will find there is a lot to keep you busy, and you will make new friends along the way, especially with the amazing Cast Members.

Since you'll be there during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, I definitely recommend taking a whole day to explore this event. You can snack around World Showcase at the Outdoor Kitchen kiosks and see the gorgeous topiary displays that will be around the festival.

One of the great things about a solo trip is that what you do and when you do it is all up to you! Be sure to make Advance Dining Reservations at any Table-Service restaurants that you are hoping to try. Dining at the Walt Disney World Resort is a special experience, no matter the party size! Snagging your FastPass+ selections ahead of time will be helpful in getting more done during your day, but also utilize the Single Rider lines found at Test Track in Epcot, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith in Disney's Hollywood Studios and Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

My last tip is to make sure you live in the moment! Don't feel intimidated to stop and meet a character or take a fun picture in front of Cinderella Castle. You will be able to accomplish a lot during your solo trip, but make sure you also slow down and soak up the magic of it all, too!

Please visit us again with any other questions you may have, David. Happy planning!
