I'm wondering if our stroller will be okay in the parks and on the bus. It's a "Jeep" stroller, it folds up, but not as compact or light as an umbrella stroller or other lightweight stroller. We have a 13 month old, and I want him to be comfort

    Hi Erin,

I think your stroller will be absolutely fine.  In fact, I'm almost positive that when my first was one, we used the exact model for our "inaugural" trip with him.  (It has three wheels, with one on the front, and a detachable toy steering wheel.)  You'll find strollers of all different shapes and sizes in the parks and on Disney transportation.  Especially with little tikes, I believe a familiar, comfortable stroller that reclines and has a great canopy is critical for a successful trip.  A good sized "basket" or storage compartment is handy for carting whatever you need in the parks as well.  You'll find tons of double strollers around as well, and most are larger than the stroller you described.

As for the buses, you will be asked to fold your stroller before boarding to keep the aisle clear and safe for other passengers, but there is room under the seats for most strollers.  If it doesn't fit there, you or your partner can simply hold it in front of you while sitting.  I don't think you'll find any problems.  As long as one of you is capable of lifting the stroller onto the bus and then back off before your exit, you should be fine!

    Have a wonderful trip!
