I'm wondering how the glass bottom boat or submarine excursions are at Nassau.

Welcome aboard, Brooke! Since you're asking about two of Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures in Nassau, I'm guessing that your family is getting ready to set sail with Disney on a Bahamian cruise! There is nothing like boarding one of the beautiful Disney Cruise Line ships, unpacking once, and making your way to so many exciting destinations!

Nassau has quite a bit to offer, with so many Port Adventures for everyone in the family. The SeaWorld Explorer Semi-Sub is a nice adventure where you'll not only get to see Nassau from on top of the waves, but under the sea as well. If you're up for a relaxing 45 minute boat ride with glimpses of life under the sea, this is a fun adventure for you. The whole cruise is a gorgeous tour and a great way to sneak away to explore Nassau for a bit. Guests can spend time both up on top and in the semi-sub viewing area throughout the sailing.

The Sunshine Glass Bottom Boat Tour is only 30 minutes, and features windows similar to the Semi-Sub, but you look down into the bottom windows, instead of climbing down below the boat in the Semi-Sub, so the glass bottom viewing isn't quite as up close. However, the boat is a double decker, so there is more space upstairs to move around, and drinks are included, and the price is less per person than the Semi-Sub for a pretty similar experience.

Both are great adventures for those looking for something short that day. I love taking just a short adventure in Nassau because it's actually my favorite day to spend more time onboard the ship while other guests are away. Shorter lines for the AquaDuck! Yes!

    Have fun planning, Brooke!
