I'm wondering the current deposit and cancellation policy for booking a room only reservation. We are planning our next visit In March 2017. Also if we book now and they renew the military discount are we able to apply that to our reservation? Thanks

    Hi Danielle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Room-only Reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort require a deposit of one night's stay plus taxes so, the deposit amount will vary depending on the Resort Hotel that you choose for your visit. The remaining balance would be due upon check-in. With Room-only Reservations, you have up until five (5) days prior to your Resort stay to cancel without penalty

At this time, the rates for 2017 Walt Disney World Resort rates/offers have not yet been announced. In previous years, rates for the following year have been announced anywhere from late June to early August. I would keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates and information about when 2017 package rates and special offers will be available for booking. I recommend booking your Walt Disney World Resort vacation through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Should you book your Resort vacation and special offers are announced after you have booked, a Planner can assist you in re-booking so that you may take advantage of any discounts or special offers.

I hope this information helps. Please visit us again if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
