    Julie from CO Asked

Hi! I'm a WDW veteran making 1st DL trip the last week of Sept with my DS4. Very excited! Looking for the best seats for World of Color. Is there a difference between dining package seats vs. fast pass seats? Which would be the better option? Thanks!

Hi, Julie! I just love helping my fellow Coloradans plan trips to the Disneyland Resort! Traveling from Colorado is a breeze. Your flight will be about half the length of the journey to the Walt Disney World Resort and you will gain an hour which gives you even more time to play!

For World of Color, there are different reserved viewing area sections depending on whether you pull a FASTPASS (currently distributed by The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel's Undersea Adventure) or book a World of Color Dining or Dessert Party package. While the precise location of each section is subject to change, Dining Package Guests are usually situated in the front and center of the viewing area while those with FASTPASSES are in sections designated by color to either side of the Dining Package viewing area sections. Signs and Cast Members will direct you to your viewing area. Keep in mind that the Dining Package and FASTPASS sections are standing only. If you book a World of Color Dessert Party package, however, you will be seated at a table near the back of the viewing area where you will enjoy tasty tidbits and beverages while you watch World of Color.

All of these options are excellent ways to see the show. World of Color is so expansive that you will have a great view from almost any angle. Since you will have a little one with you, though, I suggest arriving early to whichever section you decide on so you can get as far forward as possible. Just know that Guests in the very front may get wet!

Please stop by again as I would love to help you continue to plan your magical vacation!
