I'm wanting to go on a Disney Cruise with my familyfor the first time, but I have Autistic 4 yr old son. Can the cruise line able to handle this type of special needs for a child?

    Hi Henry,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  One of the reasons I love Disney Cruise Line, is having access to all of the fun and excitement my family can tolerate - with the quiet solitude of our stateroom just moments away at any time.

I recently had the opportunity to speak with the director of the Youth Activities onboard the Disney Wonder - and she indicated that the facilities and counselors equipped and trained to accommodate children with special needs.  I encourage you to contact the special services department at (407) 566-3500 to discuss your specific situation and obtain detailed information on the services the cruise line can provide for your family.

I hope this helps - and be sure to come back with any planning questions!
