I’m wanting to book a club level room at Animal Kingdom Lodge for next August however there is no option for my specific dates, is this something you have to book later? Thanks in advance, Charlotte

Jambo, Charlotte! It's a pleasure to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I, too, have been thinking ahead to our vacation plans for 2021 and all of the Disney fun that's yet to come. Planning a trip to stay Club Level at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge with its cultural integrity, on-site animals and amazing dining options is like having two vacations in one. If you are looking for dinner with a view, stop by one of my favorite restaurants on all of Walt Disney World Resort property: Sanaa, located over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. I think I could eat the Indian-style Bread Service daily and not tire of it!

Charlotte, this brings us back to securing your reservation. Since the Magical vacation you are planning isn't until August 2021, you may need to wait a few more months to book. Currently, vacation packages have not yet been released for 2021. Historically this has happened in June for the next year. If you aren't set on a package deal, you are able to book a room-only reservation 499 days in advance, however to do so, you'll need to call into the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and speak to a Cast Member. If your travel dates next August are not flexible, this might be the best option for you to secure the Club Level room.

Charlotte, I hope this helps as you are vacation planning for next year. Please come back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have! Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip that embodies the phrase, Hakuna Matata!
