I'm visiting in May with husband and 3 kids ages 5, 2, 14 mths. We have 6 1/2 days in the park with park hopper passes. We are skipping adult rides and scary rides. How many days should we plan for at each park?

    Hi Jill,

May is a beautiful month in central Florida.  The weather is warm, but not oppressively hot or humid, and toward the beginning of the month, the summer crowds have yet to descend on the parks.  Congratulations on your upcoming trip!

With children your kids' ages, I'm guessing they are going to want a significant amount of time at Magic Kingdom.  Fantasyland alone is likely to have your kids begging for more!  You will find many attractions that your entire family (even the baby) can ride and enjoy together at all of the parks, but Magic Kingdom will have the most, in my opinion.   Therefore, I'd allow at least two full days at the Magic Kingdom.  (My guess is you'll opt to spend more time there repeating some of your kids' favorite attractions!)  I would allow for one day each at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, and one or two days at Epcot.  You'll see that my "math" doesn't account for all of your days, and it's intentional.  I think your plans should be fluid enough to allow your family to spend a day revisiting some favorite attractions at the park(s) of your choice, enjoying your resort pool, or hanging out at Downtown Disney.

    Have a fantastic vacation!
