I’m visiting with my boyfriend and our kids who are 4, 8, 9, and 11. We will be visiting three parks, so I was wondering which three are recommended. Also, we will be staying June 24-28th. Will Toy Story land be open then?

    Hi Kimberly,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your kids are such perfect ages for a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Given their ages, I recommend you visit Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Although we cannot yet confirm exactly when Toy Story Land will be open, we are all hoping that it will be open by the dates of your visit! Check the Attractions List and filter using the link for "All Parks & Resorts" to decide which rides your children would like to experience. Also check the height requirements to see which children can ride which rides. Be sure to make your Fast Pass+ selections 60 days in advance if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

We love Magic Kingdom for all of the rides! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain are some of our favorites. But we also enjoy the Swiss Family Treehouse and Tom Sawyer Island. At Disney's Animal Kingdom, you must take an expedition on Pandora - The World of Avatar. The Floating Mountains are spectacular and Avatar Flight of Passage is stunning. If you have any Star Wars fans, Disney's Hollywood Studios is a must-do. Our girls still love Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. Recruits must be present EARLY to sign-up for training. We always do a pre-park opening breakfast reservation at Hollywood & Vine so that we can enter the park early and sign-up before the crowds enter.

Kimberly, since you will have a fairly large group, also make dining reservations, especially for character meals!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
