I'm going on vacations with my family on January, 2016. I will stay in a Disney Hotel, I didn’t understand. Do I have free fast pass+? Because staying in these hotel or do I have to buy it?

    Hello, Paola!

FastPass+ Planning is available at no additional charge to all Guests who have a valid Theme Park Ticket. One of the many benefits to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort is you are able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your arrival. Those who are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are not able to make their selections until 30 days before their arrival. FastPass+ is an amazing planning tool that helps reduce your wait time for select rides and attractions. It really helps my family make the most of our valuable vacation time!

When deciding how to use your FastPass+ selections, it is usually a good idea to save these for some of the most popular rides or attractions. At your 60 day mark, you are able to choose three FastPass+ selections for one Theme Park per day of your visit. After you have used all three, you may make additional FastPass+ selections, one at a time, by visiting a FastPass+ Kiosk in the same Theme Park as the rides or attractions you would like to make your selections for. If you need to change your FastPass+ selections before you use them, you can manage them right in the Theme Parks or at your hotel before your arrival by using your My Disney Experience app.

Also do keep in mind both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios have a tiered FastPass+ system. Be sure to plan accordingly what attractions you would like to make your selections for.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Paola!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
