Hi, I'm trying to plan a trip for 2015. My daughter will be 8 yrs old and I am thinking about staying at Art of Animation.  How are the rooms and service?  This will be the first trip and I want everything to be magical.

    Hi there, Frances!

I'm so excited that you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! There is nothing more magical than taking your child to visit the Walt Disney World Resort for their very first time!

If your daughter is a fan of Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King, or The Little Mermaid, Disney's Art of Animation Resort is going to be a fantastic choice for you. I stayed in a standard room in The Little Mermaid section and the theming of the room and grounds was just incredible. The grounds in each of the other sections are truly phenomenal as well. I had the opportunity to tour the other 3 sections of the Resort as well as the Family Suites in each and the attention to detail makes this Resort my family's favorite in the "Value" category. From the moment you step foot into each "movie", you will feel as though you've become a part of the film! The Character sculptures are larger than life!

When I stayed there, I spent an entire day just touring the Resort and taking pictures. It's such a fun place to hang out and I'm sure your daughter will just love it. In fact, The Big Blue Pool located in the Finding Nemo section is the single largest hotel pool at the Walt Disney World Resort!

As far as the service goes, whenever we needed anything at all, the Cast Members were quick to do whatever they could to make our stay pleasant. From extra towels to more soap, we never had to worry about a thing.

I sure hope this helps, Frances! We'd love to help if you have any other questions so please don't hesitate to write back in!

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
