I'm trying to plan a trip for 6. 3 Adults and 3 kids (9,8,1). Any tips or advice on packages?

    Hi Emily,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Hopefully, you have seen some of the Special Offers for the Walt Disney World Resort. Since you will need accommodations for six, I would first suggest that you select the resort hotel. There are several that will meet your needs. Disney's Art of Animation Resort has family suites that can sleep up to six and include two bathrooms. Disney's All-Star Music Resort also has a family suite that includes two bathrooms. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has one-bedroom suites that can sleep six. The Cabins at Disney's Ft. Wilderness Resort include a queen bed, bunk bed, and double-size sleeper sofa. Finally, Deluxe Villa resorts might be a good option.

Second, we always purchase a Dining Plan. We have used both the Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan. Now that our girls are 10-years old, we prefer the Deluxe Dining Plan because it offers more flexibility with three meals per night for each guest over 3-years old in your party.

Although we have done the Park Hopper option in the past, I would caution that, when the parks are crowded, it can be difficult to transport to multiple parks in one day. We have managed without the Park Hopper Option but it requires solid planning. Be sure that your dining reservations are at the park you plan to visit each day.

    Happy Planning!
