I'm trying to plan my fast passes. wondering what are the best things to get at all 4 parks?? we are a family of 4: 2 Adults and our 2 daughters who will be 4 and almost 2. I keep seeing the character meet and great is it good to use fast passes for that

    Christina:

I would recommend making your FastPass+ choices around your daughters, keeping wait times that are outside or at the end of the day when they are tired to a minimum. Here are my thoughts on each park:

    • Animal Kingdom: Because most of the FP+ choices in this park are for attractions that your daughters will probably not be able to ride, I would suggest using your selections for Kilimanjaro Safaris, The Lion King and Nemo. Having them for the shows will greatly reduce your wait time and give you better seats nearer the stage. Both are pluses for your daughters.
    • Epcot: Again, because your daughters probably won't meet the height requirements for most of the Tier 1 Attractions for FP+, I recommend using your Tier 1 for Illuminations so that you can cut down on the wait time that, for some families, can be difficult for pre-schoolers. Using it for Turtle Talk with Crush gives your daughters a good seat for possible interaction with Crush, and using your last one on the Character Spot Meet-and-Greet allows you to see Mickey in Epcot rather than Magic Kingdom so you can use yours at MK for a princess meet-and-greet.
    • Hollywood Studios: Toy Story Mania is your pick for your Tier 1 FP+ choice whether your children were 4, 14 or 40. Use your others for Disney Junior and Frozen Sing-a-long for good seats and minimal wait times.
    • Magic Kingdom: The parades and fireworks FP+ provide what every parent wants--a good seat with minimal meltdowns, I mean wait times. Additionally, the princess meet-and-greet is another option if the parades and fireworks are out when you make your reservations. I don't think you have to use it for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Although the line is long, it is shaded and there are interactive "jewel" games for them to play in the queue. Visit it in the evening to optimize the queue and weather.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
