I'm trying to figure out the best ticket option for our upcoming trip. If we want to go to theme parks for 4 days, but then do a day with only a water park and no official theme park, what tickets should we get? 5day w/ WP option, or 4day w/ WP...? Thanks!

    Dana:

It sounds like your cheapest way to go is to purchase a 4-Day Theme Park ticket and a separate 1-Day Water Park ticket. However...

The 1-Day Water Park Ticket currently costs $53 versus adding the Water Parks and more Option to your Theme Park Ticket for $60 at a savings of $7 plus tax. On the surface, this may seem like the best deal, but keep in mind that this is not comparing apples to apples. The Water Parks and More option--at an additional cost of $7--actually gives you an equal number of visits to Disney's Water Parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon) along with Disney Quest and its miniature golf courses before 4 p.m. as you have days on your ticket, in your case four visits. So, if you know that you'd like to enjoy, say, the mini golf on the same day as the water park or head to Disney Quest when the water park closes, the additional $7 would be more than worth it.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
