I'm trying to decide which/how many strollers to bring. We'll be staying at SOG and our kids will be 5, 3, and 10 mos. Should I bring the double stroller? Or should I bring two umbrella strollers? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Becky!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip!  I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest a third alternative for you stroller dilemma.  Assuming you have two adults traveling (and, therefore, two sets of arms to push), I would actually recommend bringing a double (for your younger kids) and a lightweight, easy-to-fold umbrella for your five-year-old.  Believe me, I know your oldest wouldn't be caught "you-know-what" in a stroller at home, but the amount of walking at Disney can easily tire out a kindergartner!  Even if your child walks part of the time and you use one of the stroller seats for carting a park bag, soft cooler, jackets, etc., having a place for her/him to sit when tired will be a big help.  I also think strollers help you see and experience more of your "must see" attractions, as you are able to navigate the parks at an adult's pace rather than at "five-year-old" speed.  Finally, depending upon when you travel, the parks can get very crowded.  I find it easier to keep tabs on my kids when they are in strollers.  Little people can "blend" into a crowd very easily.

Obviously these are just my suggestions, and you know your family best.  Another option is attaching a removable "buggy board" to your double stroller to allow your oldest to stand and ride while you push the other two.  Whatever you decide, have a wonderful vacation!
