Hey there, Holly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to help you plan a magical and unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Holly, crowd predictions are not a perfect science and are crowd levels are affected by many factors. That being said, when I'm planning, I'll usually check online crowd calendars that are not always accurate, but they have a pretty good gauge from tracking crowds throughout the years. You can do a quick search and compare. My go-to is undercover tourist. Keep in mind that a busy day, with some good planning, will still be a magical day at Disney!
When it comes to planning budget and meals at Disney, checking prices is key to figuring out what your best options are. If you do another quick search online for a dining plan calculator, you'll find some handy number-crunching tools that will help. Because prices can change without notice, it's better to go with a general figure and round up to give you a cushion.
You can find general pricing on the menu links on the site. Add it up and see if the
Disney Dining Plan is a good fit for this visit. For me, the dining plan is convenient because I get to pre-pay for most of my meals and it's one less thing to worry about when I'm on vacation enjoying the magic and tasty food!
Pro-tip! Make sure you mark your calendar for your important planning dates. 180-Days before your desired date for
Advanced Dining Reservations and 60-days for your
FastPass+. I hope this helps as you continue to dream up and plan your visit. Please come back and see us again with any additional questions!
