I'm trying to decide between a standard room at Caribbean beach or a family suite at All Star Music. My children will be 3 and 10 months. I'm concerned about dining options, getting around the resorts and time to travel to parks.

    Hi Lauren,

Both resorts you have picked have similar travel times to the parks as well as dining options. Here are the advantages to each.

Caribbean Beach is the largest resort at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are many activities for you to do while you are at the resort and it can be a long way to shopping, dining and the main pool. The food court is compact and has a nice variety.

All Star Music and the family suite are a great option. With a separate sleeping space, extra bathroom and kitchenette, it allows you extra amenities not found in a regular room. The food court is large and busy. However, the resort is more compact.

If you reducing your travel time and transportation stress is your main concern, you may want to consider a monorail resort or a resort by the Boardwalk. While these are more money, you could shorten your trip by a day and purchase only a base park ticket to offset your cost. You would have more dining options and you could quickly be to two resorts within minutes.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
