I'm trying to decide between the Port Orleans French quatrers and the Riverside one.Can anyone help me? There will be 6 of us. We are taking our Grandchildren who will be 5 and 3 and their parents.we will get 2 rooms.Do both places have a foodcourt?

Hi, Margie!  How fun to be visiting WDW with your kids and grandkids.  We often travel with my parents, and my kids just love having them with us!

Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter are located next to each other.  In fact, you can walk between resorts in about 10 minutes on a lovely path that runs along the Sassagoula River.   Both have nice food courts.

The main difference between these sister resorts is the size.   French Quarter has just over 1,000 rooms, about half of the size of Riverside.    This means less walking at French Quarter.  However, because of the size, Riverside has multiple pools and a sit-down restaurant.

When my kids were little, we found Port Orleans French Quarter a bit more convenient just because we didn't have to walk as much to reach the food court.   We also would request a first floor room to make it easier with our big stroller.

Either resort is nice, so I think you will be happy with whatever choice you make!
