I'm trying to choose a resort with a pool and waterslide appropriate for young children (ages 2 and 4). No steep drops, but twists/turns desired. Any recommendations? Will the 2yo be allowed to ride on my lap and/or with a life vest?

    Shawna:

Although there are several resorts with slides, one of my favorites is Caribbean Beach Resort and its zero-entry kids pool and "water station" complete with slides more appropriate for pre-schoolers--no need for you to have to ride!  Water canons and sprinklers abound on this giant play fort for kids that's right next to the pirate-themed pool.  So if they get up their courage to put on their floatees and head to the "big" pool with you, you're in business.

(And did I mention the resort is a Moderate?  Good price for the pool amenities!)

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
