I'm trying to book a room at one of the value resorts using one of the following discount: Annual Passholder, Disney Rewards Cardmember or AAA. I have called WDW reservations at least 10 times and am told there are no rooms available - any suggestions?

    Hi Faye,

I know this can be frustrating, and I have been in a similar situation.  Disney (and most hotels) allocate a certain number of rooms at discounted rates.  Once those are booked, rarely are additional rooms added.

    Here are some options:

    1. Upgraded to a Moderate.  It may not be that much more when you apply the discount.  You may also be slightly closer to the parks which will reduce your travel time.  I did this once, and was able to get a Deluxe Resort at a Moderate price.
    2. Change your dates.  Ask the Castmember if there are any rooms available if you arrive a day earlier or leave a day later.  Castmembers can see availability and can guide you to a reduced room if it is available.
    3. Ask for a different discount.  There may be a discount available you are not aware of to take advantage.  Mousesavers.com list discounts available.
    4. Keep trying.  People's plan change.  I have had this experience also.  I booked the room I could afford, and when a better room became available, I saved even more.  However, I would have been happy with the higher price point-the reduction was a bonus.

    I hope this helps!
