Fantasmic

I'm trying to book the Fantasmic VIP package for summer 2020 but it doesn't look to be available past April. Is it ending, or just not available to book 6 months in advance.

    Hi Jillian!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad you're hEAR!

Fantasmic! is my absolute favorite Walt Disney World Resort nighttime spectacular, hands down. Other guests love this show too, as I've often seen lines form an hour before the amphitheater opens to guests, which is 90 minutes before the show starts. So I think it's an absolutely splendid idea to do what you can to ensure a seat ahead of time, whether that's through a Fantasmic! Dining Package, FastPass+ reservation, or Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience.

I was actually in the same situation a few years ago, trying to book the same package for a multi-generational trip to Mickey's house. What I lEARned was that most dessert parties open their calendars for booking anywhere from 4 months to 45 days in advance of the event date. Some shows open their bookings exactly 'X number of days away from today' everyday, while others will open an entire month of parties once the first day of that month is 2, 3 or even 4 months out. I remember booking our March Fantasmic! Dessert date in December. Since we're at the end of January right now and can see all of April's offerings, all dates in July should be ready to reserve on April 1st.

If, by any chance, you feel like you'd like to have a back up plan, go ahead and book a Fantasmic! Dining Package now. Then when you do get the Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience booked, you can cancel the dining package up to 48 hours before showtime free of penalty. I will say though that the VIP ticket holders of both options are seated in the same reserved section, so either way you'll win.

I hope this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney Days, Jillian, and We'll See You Real Soon!
