    Heyssel from FL Asked

Hi! :) I'm trying to book a Disney trip sailing from Miami for around October - November but for some reason it's only giving me dates for January through around April of this year. Does the Disney magic not sail from Miami anymore?

Welcome aboard, Heyssel! Isn't it exciting to begin planning for a Disney Cruise Line vacation. I have to say I'm a bit jealous that you live in Florida, so you don't have far to travel to set sail on the high seas with Disney!

The Disney Magic features a few different home ports this year. It will be sailing out of Miami until mid-May, when it leaves to head to Europe for the summer. This fall, the Magic will sail back across the Atlantic from Europe and begin sailing out of New York for some special Canadian Coast and Bahamian sailings. By December, the Magic will be back in Miami to continue its exciting Caribbean and Bahamian sailings from your neighborhood. I'm sorry that you won't be able to sail on the Magic in October or November of this year from Miami, but you might want to check out the December sailings on the Magic, or even consider driving up to Port Canaveral this fall to cruise on the Disney Dream or the Disney Fantasy which both sail year-round from there.

Since you're a Florida resident, don't forget to check out the Special Rates for Florida Residents to see if you can take a cruise that is currently offering a discount. It's always nice to save money on what is sure to be a magical adventure, Heyssel!

Have fun planning, and stop back if we can help you with any other questions!
