Hi! I'm traveling with my 9 and 5 years old to WDW in December 2013. Is there any restaurant where we can celebrate New Year Eve and see the park celebration too?

    Hi Hugo!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I assume by New Year's Eve celebration that you mean the fireworks.  There are special fireworks in the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  There are two restaurants that come to mind in Epcot:  The Rose and Crown in the United Kingdom Pavilion and La Hacienda in the Mexico Pavilion.  Both offer great views of Illuminations, the nighttime spectacular there, if you get a good table.

In my opinion, there's really no good restaurant in the Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks.  If you want to see the fireworks from afar, a good place is the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort or from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
