I'm traveling with a 5 year old who's scared of fireworks. Will the kids clubs be open during pirates night? If so will she be able to hear them still?

Welcome back, Cailyn! What a timely question, considering that last night we enjoyed some fabulous fireworks celebrations for the Fourth of July. They were nothing compared to the Buccaneer Blast fireworks at sea with Disney, though! I hope your little princess didn't have too rough a night with the fireworks near you.

The Youth Clubs onboard would definitely be the place to go if she doesn't want to be out on deck for the fireworks celebration. The Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are on Deck Five, midship, so they're in the complete center of the ship and with the fun activities and music going on there, she shouldn't hear much of the fireworks. There may be a bit heard inside, but of all the places onboard, that would shelter her the most from the noise, and keep her so engaged in fun activities that she may not even notice if she does hear a muffled sound of a boom, it may not even phase her since she'll be having so many distractions keeping her busy in the clubs.

I hope she'll join you up on deck for the fun pirate festivities before the fireworks, though, as she won't want to miss those! My kids adore Pirate Night and the fun Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party with Captain Mickey and his crew! You can always take her down to the clubs just before the fireworks begin. Your Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will have the schedules so you know how to plan your evening.

Have such fun as you get ready to set sail, Cailyn!
